I am a bit old to be a NKOTB fan, but my daugher is the same age as you and she spent every penny of her allowance and babysitting money on ANYTHING related to this group. Her grandmother even painted a picture of him for her, which she still has. Because of this history, when I ran into Donnie Wahlberg at the YMCA in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, where I volunteer, I slipped him a note asking him for his autorgraph for my daughter (I did not want to attract any attention to him by asking him in person as so far no one seemed to recognize him and he was able to work out in private). He did not look at the note at that time but gave me a big smile and a wave as he left and I figured that was the end of that. However, Donnie came back to the YMCA several days later and left the autograph for me at the front desk. The reason I am so impressed is because he had to work a bit to make sure it got to me. I did not provide any information other than my first name and my daughters, and because I volunteer I was not easily located. Donnie had to let them know which day he saw me and even describe me. I really feel that he went the extra mile to make sure my daughter got his autograph when most others might have just given up. I wanted to find some way of thanking him, but he has left Prince George and I am not likely to run into him again. I thought this was the next best thing letting his fans know what a nice guy he is! I see by his quotes that he really is not into giving autographs so I guess he really did go the extra mile. Thanks Donnie!
