Show Synopsis: "Donnie Wahlberg (Sixth Sense, Boomtown and Band of Brothers) and Jason Gedrick (Boomtown, Murder One and Backdraft) have been signed to star in the upcoming A&E Original Movie KINGS OF SOUTH BEACH. Part Donnie Brasco and part Scarface, from the writer of Goodfellas and Casino Nick Pileggi, the film tells the wild, true story of the club promoter who reinvented South Beach as a nightlife mecca. Shooting begins this month in Puerto Rico. Dubbed “The IT boy” by People magazine, Chris Paciello (Jason Gedrick) created South Beach’s most famous nightclubs, attracting top models and stars, including the likes of Madonna and Kate Moss. While living in Miami, Chris raised the! funds to buy a bar, which then burned down under mysterious circumstances. Using the insurance funds, he started the nightclub Liquid. Soon he was the toast of the town. Helping Paciello was his new best friend and head of security, Andy Burnett (Donnie Wahlberg). The South Beach “good life” is pretty heady stuff for a couple of knock-around guys from New York City….but it can not last as each harbors a secret past unknown to the other.
