1/04/09: Righteous Kill DVD Released on Tuesday
Donnie's movie, Righteous Kill, with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino will be released on Region 1 DVD on Tuesday, January 6th.

1/04/09: Bunker Hill

1/04/09: What Doesn't Kill You
Donnie's movie, What Doesn't Kill You, (formerly Real Men Cry) has been released in N.Y. and L.A. theaters. Their official website is here.

1/04/09: New Blog
Donnie added a new blog to the New Kids' website where he announced from the set of Bunker Hill that the New Kids will be back. (The last time I talked to Donnie's assistant, the New Kids plan to do another U.S. tour sometime in the Spring.) However, beginning on January 16th, they will begin their overseas tour in England. 10/18/08: Houston Concert
I was fortunate enough to attend the Houston concert on the 16th and Donnie (through his assistant) was nice enough to allow me to take some photographs during the concert. However, they ask that I only take pictures during the first three songs, so I have uploaded those pictures to the photo gallery here. 10/18/08: Bunker Hill
Donnie has also confirmed that he will be starring in the new TNT show entitled "Bunker Hill." In fact, he has recently been casting parts in the show! Thus, every day that he has off from the group, he tells me that he is in LA working on the show....

10/18/08: Updates (or the lack thereof)
I apologize for the recent lack of updates on the site, however I (the webmaster) live in Houston, TX., and thus was recently struck by Hurricane Ike. Therefore, I was recently without power for 13 days, and thus could not update the site for those days. When I did receive power back, I really had a lot of other pressing issues to deal with (like insurance claims, fixing my house, etc.). Also, I just do the site as a hobby. My true job is as an English teacher, and this year I got an extra class, so I have approximately 125 students' papers to grade. Therefore, I have felt a little overwhelmed, especially since the New Kids have been so busy lately. I will do my best to keep up, but I truly must keep up with my students and their grades first. Therefore, if I don't update in a while, or respond to your email, please do not take it personally; I am just extremely busy. Thank you for your understanding.

"I'm humbled by his nomination," Wahlberg told us. "But that it's in Boston is what makes it so great." Also honored were geneticist Dr. Diana Bianchi and Eastern Bank CEO Richard Holbrook. And what of persistent reports that Wahlberg's former band, New Kids on the Block, will reunite? "Nothing's concrete," he said, "but anything's possible."

STAMFORD - Actor Donnie Wahlberg strolled out of the Trump Parc sales office yesterday like he lived there.

Wahlberg was filming a scene outside the Broad Street building for the eighth major motion picture shot in Stamford this summer.

The "Band of Brothers" star casually lit a cigarette and ducked into an unmarked New York City police cruiser, a prop from the film "Righteous Kill," which stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino as New York police detectives and is being shot in lower Fairfield County.

"Stamford's got everything you need for it to look like a big city, but the people are a little more small-townish," Wahlberg said. "They're a little more appreciative."

Filming took place at the sales office of Trump Parc, a soon-to-be luxury condominium tower that, at 34 stories, will be Stamford's tallest structure. It is being built by developers Louis Cappelli and Thomas Rich under the Donald Trump brand. Construction began in May.

Out there . . . Actors Al Pacino and Donnie Wahlberg were in Milford this week filming "Righteous Kill." Shooting also is taking place in Norwalk, at Harding High School in Bridgeport, McKinley School in Fairfield and at a private home on Orange Street in New Haven. The drama also stars Robert De Niro; rapper 50 Cent, a Farmington resident, and Martin Scorsese.
