Film Synopsis: "Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School " is a heartfelt, nostalgic and gently humorous story about a chance encounter in which one man's dreams become another man's destiny.

Frank, a baker by trade, has been consumed by grief over his wife's death. But everything changes when he pulls his bread truck over on a rural highway to help a dying stranger entangled in a car wreck.

In the last moments of his life, Steve tells Frank that he was on his way to visit a woman he hasn't seen in forty years. Steve shares a compelling tale of adolescent love, replete with first kisses, fart jokes, youthful innocence and ballroom dancing classes. Before Steve dies, Frank promises to keep the meeting with his long lost love.

Frank's quest to find Steve's love, Lisa, takes him to Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School . Shy and uncomfortable in the new environment, Frank summons all of his social courage to participate in the dance class. One by one, Frank approaches all of the women in the class to see if they could be Lisa. While Frank doesn't find Lisa, he does find a new beginning in the ballroom dancing class. Frank feels passionate and alive for the first time in years.

Frank finds the courage to let go of the past and embrace life again. Soon he develops a relationship with his fellow classmate, Meredith, a beautiful young woman trying to escape her own past.

Eventually, Frank finds Lisa and is saddened to discover that her life has not turned out as Steve might have envisioned in his dreams. But Frank's new and unexpected path has given life a whole new meaning. His budding romance with Meredith is just the beginning.

Frank's change is infectious. One by one, his friends also join him in ballroom dancing lessons and they too are swept away by passion, romance and a new world of discovery.

A story about lost dreams and tarnished expectations for some and hope and joy for others, "Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School " reveals the forever astonishing ways our lives design themselves.
