Vanessa: I'll be his boss (pointing to Donnie). I have no idea where I'll be bossing around.

Extra: Vanessa Williams goes from Broadway to Boomtown and shows the boys who's boss.
Vanessa: I'm curious to see what they're gonna have me do.

Extra: And we're gonna progress to another star joining the mix on Boomtown. I had the chance to spend some quality time with Ms. Vanessa Williams, who's all set to get gritty.
Extra (voiceover): NBC's Boomtown is speeding into its second season with a bullet, and a few changes including a new cast member.
Extra (to Vanessa): Pleasure to see you as always.
Vanessa: Good to see ya. How's it going?
Extra: You look great.
Vanessa: Aww..thanks.
Extra (voiceover): The silky-voiced star of stage, screen and song: Vanessa Williams.
Vanessa: I am going to do a 10-episode arc, and I'm anxious to see how it's gonna...what my ride will be like.
Extra (voiceover): Well if last season is any indication, it will be intense. A veteran of shoot-em-ups like Eraser and Shaft, Vanessa will get a piece of the action as supervising Detective Katherine Pierce.
Vanessa: So I'll be his boss (pointing to Donnie). I have no idea where I'll be bossing around...uh...doing, but...
Donnie: Just beat me, that's all! Just beat me all the time!
Extra (voiceover): Co-Star Donnie Wahlberg hopes the two will make beautiful music together.
Donnie: We used to do music...not together, but around the same time, I mean, so...
Vanessa: Backstage we met...um-hmm...
Donnie: I've been watching her for a long time, and to be able to work with her, you know, is just, it's a thrill.
Extra (voiceover): And Donnie says all the Boomtown boys are fighting to be the former Miss America's love interest.
Donnie: When they finish beating each other up, I'll be the last man standing.
Extra (voiceover): Yo! Back up Donnie! The real man in Vanessa's life is L.A. Lakers' forward and husband of four years, Rick Fox.
Vanessa: I'm a Rick Fox fan.
Donnie: Me, too.
Extra (voiceover): But, the New York native and passionate Knicks' fan says that her marriage fans didn't include becoming a Lakers' fan.
Vanessa: I never wore the purple and gold. It's just a little, you know, over the top.
Donnie: I love her! I love her! I hate the Lakers!
Extra (voiceover): This Boston native who cheers for the Celtics says that he is willing to do anything to make this new kid on the block feel welcome...ANYTHING!
Donnie: Let's get my butt naked! Why not?!? God only graces the earth with so many beautiful butts and I happen to have one of them.
