Film Synopsis: "This is the story about the Next Christmas. Jacques a French Belmondo-type.
Jacques never connected or cared about anyone but himself. Just roamed the globe looking for
thrills. Jacques new thrill: training for Bull-fighting at a Mexican Bull ranch. He (as usual)
breaks the rules -- running the bulls at night. LAILA (the ranch-owner's daughter) has a wild
teenage crush on Jacques. She surprises him one night - setting loose the ranch's
wildest bull to face Jacques. the bull hits Jacques - but turns on Laila. Wounded Laila urges
him to get away. Jacques hesitates - bolts off into the night. The Ranch-owner CORDOBES
discovers his dying Laila. [ Cordobes is actually an American tough guy named Anderson -
hiding in Mexico] Cordobes brings his ex-gunner, Jones to chase down Jacques... But Cordobes
doesn't know that his protégé Jones has come to finish him off. Jacques on-the-run finds Mary
his last girlfriend. Mary is an on-the-road DJ who drives a music-van to small towns in Mexico
to play for Holiday Fiestas. Unwillingly Mary hauls Jacques towards the border. The chase
begins. Then MIRACLES starts to happen...Jacque's bull-wound disappears. Laila keeps
re-appearing to her father, Cordobes. An ANGLE-LADY starts popping up in the night to guide
Jacques - finally she materializes to tell Jacques and Mary that Mary is pregnant with the
Next Messiah. Is this turning into a dream? It's for sure intentionally outrageous. The story
climaxes on Christmas Eve. In an underground parking lot. Jacques in a strange gunplay
showdown with Cordobes - not to save himself; but to protect Mary. Deep inside for Jacques:
this is a crossroad-moment. He's got to drop his drifting life - and save Mary and the
new-born child. And (maybe) save the world. Jacques is caught. Not sure he can handle this.
He's just an ordinary Joe. And this is still Earth, remember?"
