Sometime into the Today Show Rosie O'Donnell (who was also a guest) came out of the studio and started signing autographs and taking pictures with people so there was a lot of commotion. Just as this was happening, I saw a town car pull up to the curb. The driver opened the door and there HE was!!!! Amy couldn't believe that she was actually seeing Donnie Wahlberg after looking forward to this moment for 14 years. She actually started to tear a little. But, I reminder her that she needed to be focused and to approach him for a picture or she would regret it!

Donnie got out of the car near where Amy was standing and he said "Hi!" But, by this time a few other random "fans" (not your typical NKOTB fans so...????)approached him for autographs. He signed a few and Amy shyly asked him if he would take a picture with her and he said "sure." I snapped one when they weren't ready - so I took another one just in case. She hugged Donnie and thanked him and he went into the studio. We waited for him to come out so I could get a picture too, but when he came out he was running late to Regis so he couldn't stop for a picture.

I was so disappointed, but as we walked away from his car we heard some shout "Ladies!" We looked back and it was Donnie calling to us from his open window - he told that he was going to Regis and to go up there for pictures. We were so excited!!!

We went to Regis but missed him going inside so we waited patiently for him to leave. He came out through the garage and was talking to an assistant from Regis. Amy got his attention and he waved to her and gave her a big smile. He came to the doorway of the garage and a few more random "fans" (we were the only girls) approached him for autographs and pictures. We waited until he was done with them and I asked Donnie if he had time for a picture. He said, "you're the girls from the Today Show, right?" we said yes and he said, "you girls should have been first in line!" It was so cute.

He spent a few minutes talking to us about Boomtown and Band of Brothers and how long we have been fans of his. Then he took a picture with me and then one of the random "fans" took a picture of all three of us together. Amy and I squeezed him tight and he laughed out loud.

Donnie was so nice and very humble. We will never forget meeting him for the first time! We can't wait to do it again.
