A booze binge takes an emotional toll on deputy DA David McNorris (Neal McDonough) in this engrossing episode.
At the outset, McNorris is already flying high during a gala fund-raiser for his boss's reelection campaign. Hours later, McNorris awakens in his garage in the front seat of his car, which has a cracked windshield and a crushed fender covered with blood. The damage combined with a breaking news story convinces McNorris he's involved in a hit-and-run killing that's being investigated by Fearless (Mykelti Williamson). Desperate to jar his memory, McNorris sets out on his own inquiry, which leads to a seedy bar and a rattled exotic dancer (Susan Ward). (VCR Plus+ 6868) (TV Guide.com)
