Episode Synopsis: MCNORRIS PLEADS WITH A CONDEMNED MURDERER FOR THE LIFE OF AN L.A.P.D. OFFICER -- On the eve of his execution, a convicted murderer gives a last-minute ultimatum to D.D.A. McNorris (Neal McDonough) -- to save his life or risk the death of a kidnapped L.A.P.D. officer. When the Governor refuses to grant a stay of execution, detectives Stevens (Donnie Wahlberg) and Smith (Mykelti Williamson) -- infuriated by the delivery of the captive officer's mutilated finger -- lead the search, while McNorris pleads with the condemned killer for the officer's life. Gary Basaraba, Jason Gedrick, Lana Parrilla and Nina Garbiras also star.. With only hours to live, a murderer on death row (Robert Wisdom) has a deal for McNorris: commutation to a prison term in exchange for the cop the killer's followers have abducted.
