Let me start by going back to around 5:00pm today. I had just gotten home a little while before that and my phone rang. It was Rachel. She tells me to get my shit together and call my partner in crime (Gia) b/c we are going to the city. I said why??? And Rachel simply said, "Donnie." So I go, OMG, you found out where he's staying? And she said, Nooooo, but I found out where he's going tonight. So of course I asked where?.....She told me that she found out from some friends who had met him earlier that day after he taped the Caroline Rae show that he was going to go and tape an episode of Carson Daly. (So watch for it next week y'all) Rachel then called NBC to make sure that he was taping that night and they told her yes. So I told her I was going to call Gia & tell her to get ready and that I'd pick Gia up and we'd meet her at the studio. I called Gia and told her to get ready b/c we were going to the city tonight & I'd be by to pick her up in about a 1/2 hour. Of course she asked why and I told her. Let me tell ya, she had the same reaction as I did...lol So within 30 minutes we were in my car & we were on our way.

When we got to the city Rachel was already there. She arrived about 20 minutes before us. It was now about 6:45pm. We were hanging out and waiting around & then I'd say about 8:10pm Donnie walked off the elevator. The 3 of us walked right up to him & Gia tapped him on the back of the shoulder. Before I get any further into this, let me tell you all how AMAZING he looked!!! He was wearing a black 3 1/4 length coat and black leather gloves. His hair was perfect. It was soooooooo neat!! He also had on black pants. (if we are remembering correctly...lol) His face and body looked as beautiful as ever. *sighs*

Now back to our little adventure......As Gia tapped him ever so softly, he turned right around and looked straight at her. She calmly took his hand and said, "hi Donnie." He said hi back and said how are you? to her. She then told him what big fans we are of his, how much we love him. And how great we think he is on Boomtown. He said, thank you so much and he was all smiles. She then proceeded to tell him about a walking stick that her dad (my Uncle) made for him back in '94 that we gave to him. He's now looking back and forth between Gia & I and he goes, Ooooohhhhh yeahhhhh! He then looked at me again and said while pointing at me, Hey, I know you. (OMFG) I said, "yep." And he goes, we've met before. And I said, "yes we did" (Jodie & Michele, do you both know how I almost died???)

Gia then asked if the 3 of us can take pictures w/ him and he said yes and asked who's first. Gia told him that I (me) take the 1st pic w/ him. He smiled at me and put his arm around me. (I can't begin to explain how I'm dying here!) We took the picture together and I said thank you. And he said, Oh, you're so welcome. Now it was Gia's turn. She got her pic w/ him and thanked him a bunch & he kept saying, Ohhhh, you're welcome and smiling. (I'll tell ya, we've all met him a bunch of times but he is just a fucking peach!!) NOW, here comes Rachel. (LOL before I even get into it) She was in so much shock...It was so funny. She looked terrified. He was looking at her like he thought she might faint. When she turned around to take a pic w/ him she accidentally hit him in the ass w/ her HUGE purse and he kinda toppled over...LMFAO She then asked for an autograph on the back of a picture of the 2 of them together from a few years ago. He says sure and then she shows it to him and say's, look, that's you and me. Now sign the back...lmao She was so nervous. He grinned at her and asked her, "What's your name?" in a VERY throaty, sexy voice.

When all was said and done we thanked him again and congratulated him on Boomtown. He again said, you're very welcome and thank you.

We then sadly had to let him leave....Awwww
